Home Based Business For Moms

I Want to Be There for My Children & Gain Experience
We all know that if we have been moms for couple of years it is hard to get back into job market. It does not matter if you have worked for several years prior to getting married or have not worked at all prior to your marriage, it is hard to get back into working world. They are looking for current experience.
Some of us prefer to be home when our children get home from school and have the freedom to work on our children's project before they go to sleep.
I became a single mom with two children and had not worked for only three years. It seemed that I had stopped working for a decade. During each job interview I tried to put good face to my experience as a mom and managing my family and budget. It worked for me and was ego booster for me, but did not work getting the high paying job that I had before my child was born.
Single mom and not having the luxury to be picky, I was forced to get entry level job as accountant in hopes that I would work my way up. This meant that my children had to take pay cut that I had taken along with my divorce.
My only choice was to look for a second job; however, this would mean that I would be outside of the house for long hours.
I had hard time leaving my children with family or child care for that many hours.
Looking at my limited options, I begun to think what I could do that would allow me to stay home and make some money. Most offers for business opportunity would require money that I did not have.
One evening I took my children and went to the electronic store and purchased a computer. The next day I was in business. I began to start my own business by doing taxes from my home. I gave my nine year old son and four year old daughter a brief case so we could take the flyers I had made on my inkjet printer and took them to every store and condo in the area and distributed them.
This is how I started to gain my experience.
